Senior Project Manager

About the role

Roch Systems is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder technology projects from initiation through delivery. This remote contract position will ensure that scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are consistently met while supporting the company’s digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cross‑functional technical teams across the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation.
• Facilitate project meetings, track progress, and provide regular status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Manage dependencies, vendor relationships, and quality assurance activities.
• Ensure project deliverables align with client requirements and Roch Systems’ standards.
• Continuously improve project management processes and support digital transformation efforts.

Required profile

• BCom Honours in Project Management (required).
• Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (required).
• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile, or Scrum Master (advantage).
• Proven experience managing complex IT software implementations, systems integration, ERP, or enterprise technology projects.
• Strong abilities in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk and change management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with vendor management, quality assurance, and project governance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Effective communication and leadership, with experience engaging executive stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while handling multiple projects.
