Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex digital technology projects. The role involves scoping, budgeting, risk management, and delivering solutions for clients in the mining or banking sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Compile business cases, requirements, and process maps.
• Create and manage project schedules, statements of work, backlogs, and task prioritisation.
• Manage project RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and oversee integration and change management.
• Control budget, procurement, and cost reporting.
• Ensure quality, coordinate cross‑functional technical teams, and handle release and configuration management.
• Prepare steering committee reports and adhere to internal standards.

Required profile

• Tertiary degree, diploma or certificate in Programme or Project Management.
• PMP certification is mandatory; Agile practitioner (SAFe or Scrum) preferred or obtainable shortly after onboarding.
• 3–6 years of project management experience in technical projects (enterprise software and data) and over 10 years total professional experience.
• Background in the mining or banking industry and experience in product lifecycle management.
• Experience as a Scrum Master or EPIC Owner is advantageous.
