Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technical projects within a digital‑technology environment. The role involves scoping, budgeting, risk and issue management, and delivering projects on time while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Compile business cases, requirements and process maps.
• Create and manage project schedules, statements of work, backlogs and task prioritisation.
• Manage project RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and change integration.
• Oversee budget, cost, procurement and financial reporting.
• Ensure quality management and conduct conflict resolution and negotiations.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary technical teams and drive release and configuration management.
• Prepare steering committee reports and adhere to internal processes and standards.

Required profile

• Tertiary degree, diploma or certificate in Programme or Project Management.
• PMP certification is mandatory; Agile certification (SAFe or Scrum) preferred or to be obtained shortly after onboarding.
• 3‑6 years of project management experience on technical projects involving enterprise software and data, plus over 10 years total professional experience.
• Experience in the mining or banking industry and product lifecycle management.
• Background as a Scrum Master or EPIC Owner is advantageous.

Required skills

• PMP certification.
• Agile frameworks – SAFe or Scrum.
• COBIT knowledge.
• ITIL knowledge.
