Senior Project Manager – Digital Technologies

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex digital technology projects. The role involves scoping, budgeting, risk management and delivering projects on time within client environments.

Key responsibilities

• Compile business cases, requirements and process maps.
• Create and manage project schedules, statements of work, backlogs and task prioritisation.
• Manage project RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
• Oversee integration, change, budget and cost management, including procurement and reporting.
• Ensure quality, handle conflict resolution and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross‑functional technical teams and drive release and configuration management.
• Report to steering committees and adhere to internal processes and standards.

Required profile

• Tertiary degree or diploma in Project Management or related field.
• Minimum 3‑6 years of project management experience, 10+ years overall experience.
• Experience in technical projects involving enterprise software and data, preferably in mining or banking.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Business Analysis, SDLC and product lifecycle management.
• Strong critical thinking, active learning and complex problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• PMP certification (non‑negotiable).
• Agile practitioner – SAFe or Scrum (or willingness to certify).
• COBIT and ITIL familiarity.
• Scrum Master or EPIC Owner experience.
