Senior Project Manager – Data & Analytics

About the role

Join Nedbank’s Data & Analytics team as a Senior Project Manager and lead medium to large‑scale initiatives that shape how data, insights, and technology drive business decisions. You will work across multiple business units, senior leadership, and technology partners to deliver high‑visibility projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of projects and programmes from initiation through implementation.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers and dependency maps.
• Ensure compliance with PMO governance, reporting standards and milestone tracking.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including senior leaders, product managers and delivery teams.
• Mentor junior staff and coach teams on Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering medium to large projects in a data‑focused environment.
• Strong ability to translate product epics and backlog items into actionable delivery tasks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a cross‑functional team.
