Senior Project Manager – Customer Projects

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will own the execution of customer contracts from hand‑over by Business Development through to final delivery and project close‑off. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure milestones are met and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of contract execution from hand‑over to delivery.
• Coordinate internally across Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Compliance and Business Development.
• Plan, track and maintain delivery schedules using MS Project.
• Proactively manage contract risks, scope and schedule within the SAP environment.
• Liaise with clients for product acceptance, quality inspections and lot acceptance.
• Lead contract status meetings and keep stakeholders aligned.
• Ensure legal, export compliance and contractual requirements are met.
• Drive contract discipline and accountability within internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering project experience, with at least 3 years of direct project management.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
• Fluent English (verbal and written) for international communication.
• Experience in defence‑oriented products is advantageous.
• Strong quantitative reasoning and structured problem‑solving ability.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies.
• MS Project (or equivalent scheduling tools).
• Strong SAP knowledge (sales order, production tracking, material master).
• Advanced MS Office skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
