Senior Program Manager

About the role

OpenText, a leader in Enterprise Information Management, is looking for a Senior Program Manager to serve as the main interface with key EIM clients in South Africa and the broader African region. You will work closely with Account Executives to grow the professional services business, coordinate ongoing projects, and ensure successful delivery of solutions that manage unstructured digital data.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver large‑scale programmes, translating high‑level business requirements into technology architectures.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from discovery through design, development, and deployment, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
• Own all Professional Services business for selected key EIM accounts, developing strategic partnerships with clients.
• Maintain an opportunity pipeline, develop EIM strategies, and support leadership reviews with clear status reporting.
• Negotiate and collaborate across internal and external teams, continuously improving processes to optimise programme efficiency.
• Actively seek new opportunities, manage stakeholder expectations, and communicate technical options concisely.

Required profile

• 5+ years of IT or Service Program Management experience.
• 10+ years of experience with OpenText or other leading EIM solutions.
• Proven track record in Enterprise Information Management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Technical university/college degree and willingness to travel.
• Highly motivated, able to work independently and resolve problems quickly.
