Senior PHP Developer – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a senior PHP developer to join a fully remote team, working on high‑traffic, mission‑critical systems. The role involves designing scalable architecture, delivering clean code, and ensuring performance under production pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose and resolve performance and scalability bottlenecks.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and guide technical direction.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional PHP development experience.
• Proven track record delivering complex, production‑grade systems.
• Experience working with legacy codebases and evolving them.
• Ability to take ownership and operate at a senior level.
• Hands‑on experience building and consuming APIs.
• Strong SQL skills with MySQL or PostgreSQL and query optimisation.
