Senior Pharmacy Sales Representative – Corporate & Independent Pharmacies

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pharmacy Sales Representative to drive growth across corporate and independent pharmacies in the Gauteng region. The role combines strategic sales planning, client relationship management, and market intelligence to expand our product footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business and maintain existing pharmacy accounts through regular visits and presentations.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with market trends and company targets.
• Provide product training and educational initiatives to pharmacy staff.
• Collect and analyse market intelligence to inform pricing and promotional strategies.
• Prepare accurate sales reports and manage administrative tasks related to the territory.
• Travel extensively across the Gauteng region using a reliable vehicle.

Required profile

• Matric qualification in Business Management, Marketing, Pharmacy or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales and client management.
• Established relationships with pharmacy decision‑makers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Professional appearance suitable for client meetings and presentations.
• Valid driver’s licence with no endorsements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Comfortable using smartphones and tablets for sales tools.
