Senior .NET Core Developer – Enterprise Platforms

About the role

We are seeking an experienced .NET Core Developer to join a partner company in South Africa. You will help design, build, and integrate secure, scalable platforms that support complex enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade applications using .NET Core and modern engineering practices.
• Build and model APIs and integrations across multiple platforms, employing REST, GraphQL, gRPC, and OpenAPI standards.
• Contribute to architecture design, domain‑driven design, and system modeling initiatives.
• Develop security‑focused platform components, including control planes and policy‑driven workflows.
• Work with event‑driven technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub to enable scalable architectures.
• Design resilient systems with strong reliability, failure handling, monitoring, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering and product teams to deliver high‑quality software.
• Support continuous improvement of development practices, architecture standards, and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant ownership of architecture and distributed systems design.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems and deliver secure, scalable solutions.
