Senior Microsoft Intune & Modern Workplace Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Intune & Modern Workplace Engineer to design, implement and manage Microsoft Intune solutions across a Microsoft 365 environment. The role is remote‑first, with occasional visits to the client’s office in Sandton or Midrand.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Microsoft Intune configurations.
• Manage device enrollment, compliance policies and application deployment.
• Support Windows Autopilot and zero‑touch provisioning.
• Configure Conditional Access and security baselines.
• Administer Azure AD (Entra ID) device management and identity integration.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation for endpoint management.
• Monitor device health, compliance and security posture.
• Troubleshoot Intune, Autopilot, enrollment and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security and support teams to improve endpoint services.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
• Strong background in Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ID) and Windows 10/11 administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Autopilot, device compliance and Conditional Access.
• Proven ability to deploy and manage applications via Intune.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Relevant certifications such as MD‑102, MS‑102 or AZ‑104 are preferred.

What we offer

• Salary range R55,000 – R75,000 per month.
