Senior Medical Billing & Coding Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Medical Billing & Coding Specialist to support U.S. healthcare practices remotely. The role involves managing the full revenue cycle, from claim submission to payment posting, while ensuring compliance with U.S. coding standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit accurate claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurers.
• Apply CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes and appropriate modifiers.
• Identify and correct coding errors to prevent claim rejections.
• Manage denials, appeals, and claim corrections.
• Perform AR follow‑up, resolve outstanding balances, and reconcile payments.
• Work with payer portals, clearinghouses, EHR/EMR systems, and billing platforms.
• Document processes and communicate with insurers, providers, and internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on U.S. medical billing and coding experience.
• Direct experience in a U.S. healthcare practice or clinic.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. Revenue Cycle Management process.
• Ability to work independently and manage a full workload remotely.
