Senior Manager – IAM Parts Sales & Marketing (Non‑Genuine)

About the role

This senior position is responsible for building and expanding the Independent Aftermarket (IAM) parts portfolio – CWORKS and T‑Select – within South Africa’s automotive aftermarket. The focus is on non‑genuine, alternative parts, creating sustainable sales and distribution channels across wholesalers, retailers, independent garages, fleet customers and dealers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research with each channel (wholesalers, retailers, garages, fleet customers, TSAM dealers) to analyse SWOT, demand, pricing and opportunities, and develop marketing plans for IAM parts.
• Coordinate channel activities, monitor inventory levels, anticipate stock needs, and implement the IAM parts marketing plan together with the TSAM marketing department.
• Gather competitive pricing data, support the creation of channel‑specific price policies and strategies for CWORKS and T‑Select.
• Prepare customer visit reports, monthly performance reports, and act as the first point of contact for quality complaints.
• Manage supply‑chain and inventory coordination with local partners and the Toyota Tsusho procurement team, including delivery scheduling and order processing.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts such as batteries, shocks and filters.
• Minimum 3 years of sales or field experience in the aftermarket/OEM parts sector.
• Established connections with wholesalers, retailers and workshops in the automotive industry.
