Senior IT Auditor

About the role

The Senior IT Auditor will lead high‑quality, risk‑based IT audit engagements across the organisation, assessing IT general controls, application controls, cybersecurity processes and technology‑related risks. This role reports to the Internal Audit Management team and works closely with business stakeholders to provide objective assurance and practical remediation recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on IT audit engagements, including detailed testing of control design and operating effectiveness.
• Assess IT general controls, application controls and cybersecurity processes, identifying root causes of deficiencies.
• Prepare clear audit findings and collaborate with stakeholders to agree on remediation actions.
• Guide junior auditors, review their work and support their professional development.
• Contribute to audit methodology improvement, data‑analytics techniques and continuous assurance practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT audit or related assurance functions, preferably within a large, diversified organisation.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on detail.
• Effective communication skills to present findings to senior management.
