Senior Information Security Administrator

About the role

Future Work Recruitment is supporting a fast‑growing client in South Africa that needs two Senior Information Security Administrators. You will play a leading role in building major distribution network markets that use cutting‑edge delivery technologies. This is a hands‑on position with strong resources and support to create something special.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years experience in security architecture implementation, operating systems (Linux, Microsoft) and intrusion prevention/detection.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) with physical security measures and IT security overall.
• 5+ years working knowledge of ISO 17799 standards and encryption technologies such as VPN.
• 5+ years experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
• 6+ years experience in authentication and authorization technologies.
• 3+ years experience in IT security auditing, preferably with CISSP or GIAC certifications.
