Senior HR Generalist (6-12 Month Contract)

About the Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior HR Generalist to join our team in Kempton Park. This role is designed for a seasoned professional capable of providing expert guidance, coaching, and high-level HR support to drive organizational excellence during this 6 to 12-month contract.

Main Missions

• Provide expert HR advice, orientation, and professional coaching to line managers to enhance leadership capabilities.
• Ensure the high-quality execution of all human resources activities and operational processes.
• Lead and manage various HR-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Oversee compliance with all relevant South African labor regulations and internal policies.
• Act as a key partner in implementing HR strategies and improving organizational effectiveness.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as an HR Generalist or at a professional management level.
• University degree in Human Resources or a closely related field.
• Professional registration with IPM or SABPP is mandatory.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle.
• Proven ability to navigate complex employee relations and organizational changes.

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in South African Labour Law (Labour Act, Skills Development Act, Employment Equity Act, Basic Conditions of Employment, etc.).
• Advanced coaching and advisory skills for management levels.
• Strong project management capabilities within an HR context.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of autonomy and professional integrity.

Compensation

• Monthly salary: R55,000 - R65,000
