- Plan and witness Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at the packager and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) / commissioning at the project site, owning release‑to‑ship and punch‑list closure.
- Serve as senior engineering interface to the US client, providing structured assurance reporting and non‑conformance status.
- Mentor and transfer gas‑turbine knowledge to OCGT project engineers and the wider mechanical team.
Required profile
- 10+ years of gas‑turbine engineering experience, including refurbishment, repackaging or through‑life support of GE Frame 6B or similar industrial turbines.
- Proven senior technical authority on gas‑turbine hardware such as compressors, casings and rotating equipment.
- Experience working with third‑party packagers and OEMs, preferably with international vendors (e.g., China‑based facilities).
- Strong knowledge of US codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, NFPA/NEC, UL, EPA emissions, IEEE grid‑interconnection).
- Demonstrated ability to lead 8D root‑cause investigations and drive corrective actions.
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng via IMechE) or active ECSA registration is desirable.
- Willingness to travel internationally to China and the USA as required.
