About the role

We are looking for a senior full‑stack developer to design, build and maintain end‑to‑end transactional solutions for our clients in Menlyn, South Africa. The role combines deep Java back‑end expertise with modern JavaScript front‑end frameworks, working in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

Analyse business requirements, produce AS‑IS and TO‑BE documentation and obtain sign‑off.
Design, configure and implement new features using Java/Spring Boot and React/Angular/NodeJS.
Prepare test data, execute unit, regression, integration and security tests, and record results.
Create user manuals, deliver training and support post‑go‑live activities.
Collaborate with integration consultants, manage change transport and maintain documentation.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and use the Agile tool chain daily.
Provide production support, troubleshoot incidents and problems within SLA, including weekend and holiday availability.

Required profile

Relevant IT or Business degree, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience.
Proven ability to work in Agile teams and deliver high‑quality code.

Testing frameworks: Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, Cucumber, WireMock
IDE: IntelliJ, WebStorm
Java MicroProfile (JAX‑RS), TypeScript, REST, OData, GraphQL
ESB integration (IIB, Tibco, Oracle Fusion, MQ, messaging concepts)
Version control: Git, Bitbucket, SVN
IoC / Dependency Injection, Microservices, Jira, Confluence
