Senior Foreclosure Secretary – Pretoria

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Foreclosure Secretary to support a well‑established law firm in Pretoria. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of foreclosure matters, primarily for Standard Bank, while ensuring accurate documentation and communication with all parties.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end foreclosure processes, including both undefended and defended cases.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents under attorney supervision.
• Maintain correspondence with sheriffs, counterpart attorneys, and other stakeholders.
• Use practice management systems to track cases and deadlines.
• Prepare and proofread documents, ensuring compliance with court requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in foreclosure administration, preferably with Standard Bank.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Stable employment history and professional demeanor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Afrikaans.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Ghost Practice software.
• Experience using My Attorneys and CACS platforms.
• Familiarity with Caselines and CourtOnline systems.
• Strong dictation and typing skills.
