Senior Financial Leader

About the role

We are seeking a senior finance professional to lead and develop the finance function of a growing business in Johannesburg. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution, ensuring robust financial controls, reporting and governance across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance function, building scalable processes and systems.
• Implement and improve financial controls, reporting and governance.
• Manage ERP systems, preferably SAP or Microsoft Business Central, and integrate finance data.
• Oversee foreign exchange, import and export finance activities.
• Produce accurate daily and monthly financial reports.
• Support finance operations within trading, distribution, wholesale or FMCG environments.

• Highly ethical, trustworthy and leads by example.
• Hands‑on attitude, willing to investigate issues in detail.
• Structured, process‑driven with a passion for disciplined finance.
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels.
• Experienced finance leader who enjoys building businesses.
