About the role

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead the efficient and strategic management of its financial administration. The role ensures accurate accounting, tax, and treasury processes while supporting the company’s renewable energy operations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, tax, and treasury processes, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and regulations.
• Lead bank reconciliations and supervise accounting records to resolve discrepancies and produce accurate financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, optimizing invoice allocation and cash flow.
• Prepare strategic financial reports on income, expenses, balance sheets, and cash flows for senior management.
• Coordinate monthly and annual closing activities, validating revenues, provisions, amortizations, and adjustments.
• Supervise tax filings and coordinate with the tax department to meet obligations.
• Drive automation and digitalisation of financial processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
• Manage internal and external audits, providing transparent financial information.
• Control budgets, analyse financial variances, and propose corrective actions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Act as liaison between financial administration and other functions such as management control, taxation, and financial management.

Required profile

• Vocational training in administration and finance, accounting, or related fields.
