Senior Digital Marketing Lead (Remote, South Africa)

About the role

AirCounsel is seeking a hands‑on senior digital marketer to own and scale paid acquisition across its two legal‑tech brands. Working remotely from South Africa, you will partner directly with the founders and development team to build a full‑stack marketing function from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube) – keyword strategy, ad copy testing, bid management, conversion tracking and asset optimisation.
• Scale LinkedIn Ads campaigns – audience targeting, creative testing, lead‑gen forms and attribution.
• Design and execute outbound cold‑email programmes – list building, ICP segmentation, sequence writing, deliverability (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and reply workflows.
• Own analytics and reporting using GA4, PostHog and conversion tracking; produce weekly pipeline and ROAS reports.
• Run paid social on Meta, Instagram and other channels where appropriate.
• Build, send and optimise email marketing (nurture, lifecycle, transactional) and manage the CRM/marketing automation stack.
• Brief, produce or coordinate creative assets with freelancers.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on digital marketing experience.
• 2+ years of direct responsibility for Google Ads accounts with significant spend.
• Proven track record of building and optimising end‑to‑end paid acquisition funnels.
• Strong analytical skills; comfortable with GA4, spreadsheets and building dashboards to evaluate ROAS, CAC and LTV.
• Excellent written English; copywriting is part of the role.
• Based in South Africa and available to work 9 am‑5 pm SAST.
• Fluent with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate output.
