Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to operate within an AWS‑native banking environment. You will own the build, automation, and operational tooling that delivery teams rely on daily, focusing on CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and a frictionless developer experience while adhering to strict PCI‑DSS regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain repeatable CI/CD pipelines that move code from commit to production safely.
• Automate AWS workload provisioning and configuration using IaC tools, ensuring environments are reproducible, version‑controlled, and auditable.
• Develop and operate deployment automation, release tooling, and self‑service templates that reduce manual toil.
• Integrate security and compliance controls into pipelines, secrets management, and access control.
• Work hands‑on across the AWS estate (EC2, RDS, EKS, ECS, Load Balancing, Secrets Manager, KMS, Service Catalog) and bridge cloud‑native services with on‑premises systems.
• Apply networking fundamentals—routing, segmentation, security groups, DNS, TLS—to design secure, operable environments.
• Support the lifecycle of platform services such as identity, messaging, and application servers.
• Leverage SRE practices to improve observability, incident response, and resilience where applicable.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a regulated, PCI‑DSS environment.
• Strong coding and configuration skills; comfortable writing pipelines and automation scripts.
• Collaborative mindset, able to work with developers, architects, security engineers, and platform teams.
• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering concepts is a strong advantage.
