Senior DevEx Engineer - Infrastructure

About the role

This senior position sits at the core of the engineering organization, designing and evolving the internal platform that enables all teams to build, test, and ship software reliably. You will own the end‑to‑end developer experience infrastructure, including CI/CD systems, deployment workflows, and self‑service tooling, while shaping AI‑augmented development practices.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the internal developer platform, ensuring efficient, safe, and scalable software delivery.
• Design, implement, and operate CI/CD pipelines, deployment systems, and ephemeral environments.
• Develop and improve deployment strategies such as canary and blue/green releases.
• Build the human‑AI development loop to enable safe use of coding agents.
• Instrument developer productivity using measurable frameworks (e.g., DORA, SPACE).
• Take operational ownership of production systems, including on‑call rotation participation.
• Create “paved‑road” tooling to reduce boilerplate and standardize service creation.
• Collaborate across teams to define best practices for building and shipping software in a fully distributed, async‑first environment.

Required profile

• Strong infrastructure engineering background with deep expertise in cloud environments and scalable platform design.
• Solid software engineering experience and comfort with operational ownership.
• Ability to reason about developer experience and productivity.

Required skills

• AWS (preferred) and GCP cloud platforms
• Kubernetes in production
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tools: Terraform (preferred), Pulumi, CloudFormation, Ansible
• CI/CD systems and deployment pipelines
• Release workflow design (canary, blue/green)
