Senior Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Developer to join a small, close‑knit technology division within a large financial services group. You will work on business‑critical digital platforms, collaborating with both technical teams and business users in a regulated environment. Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance and maintain complex new and existing applications using Angular, C# and SQL.
• Identify and implement improvements to current systems and business practices.
• Monitor, diagnose and resolve application defects and performance issues.
• Contribute to testing, validation, documentation and software installation activities.
• Support information security, operational compliance and application roadmap planning.
• Coach team members and provide technical guidance as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with relevant programming languages and technologies.
• Strong experience in Angular, C# and SQL.
• Ability to analyse user needs, design solutions and improve operational efficiency.
• Experience with testing, debugging, data management, support and system configuration.
• Grade 12 or SAQA‑accredited equivalent; recognised software development certification, degree or diploma.
• Technically curious, accountable, resilient and comfortable with complexity.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
