Senior Developer – Enterprise Payments

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join a high‑performing team that builds and maintains large‑scale, mission‑critical payment and transaction‑processing systems. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, delivering secure, scalable solutions for the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java and C# applications.
• Build and support Angular front‑end applications.
• Participate in system design, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Support integration, user acceptance testing, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and performance issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and support manuals.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and support teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior developer role.
• Strong experience with Java and C# development.
• Experience building and maintaining Angular applications.
• Exposure to GitLab or similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Spring Boot, JDBC, JPA, and JMS (IBM MQ).
• Proven ability to design and support REST APIs and micro‑services.
• Familiarity with XML, XSD, and XSL.
• Knowledge of Java EE or Jakarta EE.
• Linux/Unix troubleshooting experience and use of APM tools.
