About the role

We are a well‑established conveyancing practice seeking a Senior Conveyancing Secretary with strong experience in development transfers. The role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a high‑volume, structured environment and enjoys managing client communication and workflow reporting.

Key responsibilities

Send weekly progress reports to clients, agents, and stakeholders.
Prepare and manage all conveyancing documentation.
Ensure compliance with SARS and municipal rates systems.
Maintain diaries, emails, and internal systems (GhostConvey).
Keep accurate records and monitor workflow timelines.

Required profile

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Development Transfers.
Previous experience as a Conveyancing Secretary.
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Experience using the GhostConvey system.
