About the role
Our client, a leading firm in the legal sector, is seeking a Senior Commercial Attorney to strengthen its commercial law practice. The role focuses on drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and supporting complex transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Independently draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
- Provide legal support for mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity and deal structuring.
- Advise on transactional tax implications and related financial matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with corporate and commercial regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 years of experience specializing in commercial law.
- LLB degree; a B.Com (Finance) is preferred.
- LLM in corporate and commercial law is advantageous.
- Exposure to M&A, corporate finance or tax/financial environments is a plus.
Required skills
- Strong contract drafting abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
