Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure / Databricks)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Azure Databricks to design, build and support a secure, scalable cloud environment for enterprise data platforms. The role involves creating cloud‑native solutions that enable advanced analytics and data product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Azure infrastructure, including landing zones, networking, identity and core services.
• Implement and optimise Azure Databricks environments for data‑engineering workloads.
• Support cloud security, governance and cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with platform engineers to ensure reliable deployments and high availability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to architecture, automation and operational best practices.
• Produce technical documentation and support operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or engineering.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
