Senior BPM Developer – IBM BPM/BAW or Camunda (12‑Month Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior BPM Developer to join a dynamic team delivering enterprise workflow and process automation solutions for a banking environment. The role is a 12‑month contract and focuses on designing, building, and maintaining BPM solutions using IBM BPM/BAW or Camunda.

Key responsibilities

• Translate detailed technical designs into code and configuration.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain workflow automation solutions.
• Integrate BPM/workflow solutions with custom applications, APIs, and Kafka/Confluent event streams.
• Model and deploy BPMN/DMN processes, external task workers, and orchestration services using IBM BPM/BAW or Camunda Modeler.
• Implement incident handling, monitoring, and operational support processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployments.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of practical experience in business process analysis and BPM platforms (IBM BPM/BAW or Camunda).
• 5+ years of software development experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and micro‑services.
• Hands‑on delivery of IBM BPM/BAW or Camunda 7/8, including modeling, deployment, and operations.
• Proven experience integrating workflows with event streaming platforms such as Kafka or Confluent.
• Banking domain knowledge is a plus.
