MinePlan Engineer I

About the role

Hexagon Autonomous Solutions is looking for a MinePlan Engineer I to ensure the effective operation of Hexagon Mining’s mine planning software at customer sites. You will provide high‑level technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and help optimise solutions that improve safety, productivity and efficiency in mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely, accurate troubleshooting and solutions for MineSight software worldwide.
• Adhere to support schedules, ensuring clients receive prompt assistance.
• Collaborate with the technical support team and act as the primary customer contact for support and enhancements.
• Take ownership of client issues, seeing them through to resolution or appropriate escalation.
• Participate in after‑hours on‑call support as required.
• Document defects and enhancement requests for the Product Development team.
• Provide FAQs, self‑service videos, and training where needed.
• Maintain case documentation and reporting standards in line with Hexagon Mining policies.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic technical team.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and participate in on‑call rotations.
