A well‑established law firm in the heart of Cape Town is looking for a commercially minded Senior Associate to strengthen its Commercial Litigation team. The role involves handling complex litigation matters and contributing to the firm’s reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial litigation cases independently from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents with precision.
• Appear in the High Court and other relevant tribunals.
• Develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
• Collaborate with senior partners and junior counsel on case preparation.

Required profile

• Admitted attorney with a minimum of three years post‑admission experience in commercial litigation.
• Right of appearance in the High Court is essential.
• Proven ability to work autonomously without supervision.
• Confident, driven, and professionally presented.
• Exposure to civil or insurance litigation is advantageous.
