Senior Angular Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Angular Full-Stack Engineer to join a major corporate and investment banking technology programme. The role focuses on designing and developing secure, scalable digital client channels that enhance interactions between corporate and institutional clients and the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Define front‑end architecture, component structures and reusable development patterns.
• Develop responsive, secure, and user‑friendly digital client experiences.
• Implement complex functionality using RxJS and Angular Signals.
• Contribute to micro‑frontend architecture and module federation where applicable.
• Integrate front‑end applications with RESTful APIs, API gateways and backend microservices.
• Implement secure authentication and authorisation using OAuth2, OpenID Connect and JWT.
• Develop entitlement‑aware interfaces for internal and external users.
• Implement real‑time features using WebSockets or Server‑Sent Events.
• Contribute to backend development using .NET and/or Python.
• Participate in technical design, PI planning, sprint planning and solution discussions.
• Develop unit tests and promote high standards of code quality.
• Troubleshoot complex application and distributed‑system issues.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to the wider team.
• Support documentation, knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Relevant IT degree, diploma or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive professional software development experience.
• Advanced senior‑level Angular experience.
• Advanced TypeScript skills.
• Strong understanding of Angular component architecture.
• Practical experience with RxJS and/or Angular Signals.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of microservices and distributed application architecture.
• Experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect and JWT handling.
• Experience with role‑based or entitlement‑based user interfaces.
• Experience developing and executing unit tests.
• Ability to design technical patterns and make sound architectural decisions.
