Security Supervisor (Grade B) – Bloemfontein

About the role

The Security Supervisor will oversee daily security operations at a Bloemfontein site, reporting directly to the Site Manager. This role ensures that security personnel perform their duties efficiently, maintain client relationships, and uphold safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a team of mobile security workers, ensuring compliance with company policies and client contracts.
• Maintain strong relations with the client regarding security services delivered.
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and identifying improvement areas.
• Conduct regular site visits for quality control and safety compliance.
• Investigate incidents and submit weekly/monthly incident reports to management.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, work hours, and project completion.
• Address HR‑related queries promptly and ensure all security officers meet contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 11 or Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid PSIRA Grade B registration and accreditation.
• At least 3 years’ experience in the security industry.
• Ability to write clear reports and incident documentation.
• Clear criminal record and ability to work shift patterns.
• Valid driver’s licence (Code 8 or 10) with a valid PDP.
• Firearm competency for handgun, shotgun and rifle.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
