Security Operations Analyst – AI Training (Remote)

About the role

We are partnering with leading AI research labs to build next‑generation AI systems that reason through real‑world security incidents. As a Security Operations Analyst you will apply your SOC expertise to shape how AI detects, investigates and responds to threats, making the technology smarter and more aligned with analyst workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze realistic SOC scenarios—including alerts, incidents and investigations—to determine significance and impact.
• Classify threat severity, identify root causes and recommend appropriate response actions.
• Review detection logic, triage workflows and investigation methodologies for accuracy and completeness.
• Evaluate AI‑generated security outputs and validate they reflect real analyst thinking and best practices.
• Provide structured, expert feedback that improves AI reasoning over security events.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in SOC, incident response or security operations.
• Strong familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage and investigation workflows.
• Ability to distinguish genuine threat signals from noise and false positives.
• Comfort with ambiguous scenarios and clear documentation of reasoning.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and excellent written communication skills.
