Security Engineer

About the role

JUMO is looking for a Security Engineer to join its dedicated Security Team. You will help raise the company’s overall security posture by identifying issues, guiding teams on remediation, and securing our cloud and endpoint environments.

Key responsibilities

• Discover, triage and remediate vulnerabilities from multiple sources.
• Design, configure, deploy and maintain secure configurations across AWS, EKS and endpoint estates.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on threat‑modeling exercises.
• Improve the SDLC and embed security into development pipelines.
• Write automation code and integrate security tooling with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
• Implement and enhance security observability and incident response processes.
• Secure JUMO’s use of AI tooling and continuously improve security processes.
• Coach, mentor and share knowledge within the security team.

Required profile

• 3+ years of information security experience in implementation and operations.
• Solid programming experience in Python (or similar modern language).
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code, preferably Terraform.
• Experience working with cloud services, SSO, cloud email gateways and productivity suites.
• Strong ability to build relationships, prioritize tasks and work independently.
