About the role
Deep Thought Media is seeking an experienced SEO Strategist to lead and expand the SEO services offered to its clients. This senior position requires a blend of strategic vision and hands‑on execution, focusing on both technical challenges and measurable organic growth.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies for new and existing clients.
- Perform detailed technical SEO audits and recommend fixes.
- Manage on‑page and off‑page optimisation, including keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Analyse data from Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and ranking tools to identify growth opportunities.
- Oversee local SEO initiatives such as Google Business Profile optimisation.
- Collaborate with developers to implement technical recommendations and with content creators to ensure SEO best practices.
- Create client reports with actionable insights and monitor algorithm updates.
- Review website migrations and redesigns from an SEO perspective.
- Ensure proper tracking, events, and conversion implementation across sites.
- Mentor junior team members and participate in client strategy meetings.
