SAP SD Functional Consultant – Contract (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP SD Functional Consultant to join the core SAP Engineering team within the Group IT Hub South Africa. The role focuses on the Vehicle Invoicing NSC product line, delivering a standardized, automated sales and distribution framework for vehicle lifecycle management on S/4HANA.

Key responsibilities

• Document comprehensive as‑is and to‑be business processes for vehicle invoicing.
• Configure SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and related S/4HANA modules to meet business requirements.
• Produce system design specifications and support customized development objects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate ambiguous requests into standardized solutions.
• Assist in the rapid conversion of new international markets to the S/4HANA footprint.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on SAP SD functional experience.
• Strong analytical background, preferably with IT or accounting education.
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt to evolving requirements.
• Interest in basic ABAP debugging or development concepts.
• Experience with S/4HANA migrations and global template transformations.
