SAP Business Development Manager

About the role

Vodacom is seeking an experienced SAP professional to lead the design and delivery of end‑to‑end SAP solutions for enterprise and mid‑market clients. The role focuses on modernising, migrating and optimising SAP landscapes through secure, scalable cloud‑enabled architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document comprehensive architectures for SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business One and related cloud migration projects.
• Assess existing client SAP environments and create migration road‑maps aligned with SAP best practices and Vodacom’s cloud‑first strategy.
• Collaborate with client‑engagement, pre‑sales and delivery teams to evaluate infrastructure options and define integration blueprints.
• Ensure compliance with data security, governance and performance standards across public, private and hybrid clouds.
• Provide architectural oversight and advisory support throughout project execution to minimise risk and maximise ROI.

Required profile

• Deep hands‑on expertise in SAP S/4HANA (on‑premise, private and public cloud editions).
• Proven experience with SAP Business One implementations for SME and mid‑market organisations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform, Integration Suite and cloud migration services.
• Experience designing solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and Vodacom Cloud.
• Ability to translate business requirements into deployable, resilient SAP architectures.
