Sales Support & Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Sales Support & Customer Service Representative provides administrative, operational and customer‑service assistance throughout the order fulfilment cycle. The role ensures orders are processed accurately, invoices are generated correctly and customers are kept informed of order status. By coordinating between sales, stores and logistics, the incumbent helps deliver a smooth and positive customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor dashboards and store updates to confirm order readiness and process customer orders in line with company procedures.
• Track orders from stock picking through to final delivery, ensuring on‑time shipment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer queries, order updates and delivery timelines, providing professional support.
• Prepare and process invoices for dispatched orders and maintain accurate order documentation.
• Coordinate with stores, purchasing and logistics teams to secure timely procurement, stock availability and delivery slot booking.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in sales support, customer service or order administration, preferably within the PPE, workwear or safety equipment sector.

Required skills

• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with CRM or order management systems.
