Sales Specialist / Sales Development Representative

About the role

Kensui is seeking a motivated Sales Specialist / Sales Development Representative to expand its customer base in the fitness industry. You will focus on outbound outreach to gyms, studios and personal trainers, as well as recovering abandoned checkout prospects. The role combines cold‑calling, relationship building and product education to drive new sales.

Key responsibilities

• Cold‑call gyms, fitness studios, personal trainers and other fitness businesses to introduce Kensui products.
• Identify and engage decision‑makers such as owners, managers and head trainers.
• Explain product benefits, pricing, ordering options and answer questions about shipping, compatibility and promotions.
• Follow up abandoned checkout prospects via phone, email or SMS to recover sales.
• Qualify leads, update call notes and lead status in the CRM, and schedule demos or hand‑offs.
• Meet weekly and monthly targets for calls, qualified leads, recovered checkouts and closed sales.
• Provide feedback on objections, customer concerns and product usage to marketing and product teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of sales scripts and follow‑up messaging.

Required profile

• Comfortable making a high volume of phone calls and speaking confidently on the phone.
• Persuasive yet not pushy, with strong active‑listening and objection‑handling abilities.
• Organised, consistent with follow‑ups and detail‑oriented in CRM record‑keeping.
• Basic understanding of fitness, gyms and strength‑training equipment.
• Motivated by targets and able to work independently or as part of a sales team.
