About the role

Our client, a leading South African manufacturer of natural stone and construction finishes, is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to promote marble, granite and quartz solutions to residential, commercial and industrial customers. Based in Industria, Johannesburg, you will act as the primary point of contact, educating clients on product benefits and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Educate customers on the features, benefits and applications of marble, granite and quartz products.
• Attract and develop new clients, building long‑term relationships.
• Collaborate with customers to identify mutually agreeable solutions that meet their goals.
• Demonstrate product value and return on investment.
• Listen actively to understand customer needs and pain points.
• Identify, analyse and propose effective solutions to customer challenges.
• Adapt sales approaches to the customer’s buying process.
• Build rapport and handle objections professionally.
• Influence customers using logical, emotional and social proof strategies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, including competitor comparisons.
• Identify and qualify potential customers, proactively generating leads.
• Utilise social media platforms to connect, engage and educate prospects.
• Prioritise and organise tasks to meet sales targets.
• Adapt to market changes, customer preferences and product updates.
• Earn ongoing commission on clients acquired while employed.
