Sales Representative – Sporting Medical Products

About the role

The company, a manufacturer of sporting medical equipment, is seeking a proactive Sales Representative to drive growth in the Durban region. You will be the primary point of contact for schools, sports organisations and retail partners, showcasing product benefits and supporting customers throughout the purchase cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new sales leads, convert them into long‑term customers and develop existing accounts through structured plans.
• Conduct in‑practice and on‑site product demonstrations, provide basic staff training and answer technical queries.
• Prepare quotations, follow through to order closure and maintain accurate records of interactions, reports and forecasts.
• Monitor competitors, market trends and provide feedback on product performance to management.
• Plan and execute weekly/monthly sales routes aligned with territory priorities.

Required profile

• Matric qualification; further studies in physiology or anatomy are advantageous.
• Proven experience selling sports equipment, medical consumables or B2B products to schools, sports organisations or retail outlets.
• Demonstrated ability to build long‑term relationships, conduct cold calling and generate new business.
