Sales Representative – Logistics (Western Cape)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to drive new business for a leading logistics client that transports passenger vehicles. The role focuses on acquiring and maintaining customers across the Western Cape, preferably based in Cape Town.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new business within the assigned Western Cape sales area.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers in the region.
• Analyse market trends to support strategic planning.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective promotional strategies.
• Process orders promptly and provide feedback to customers.
• Work closely with the sales coordinator for the Western Cape area.
• Provide operational assistance as needed and strive to exceed sales targets.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education with strong basic maths.
• At least 2 years of external sales experience.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Excellent personal presentation and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
