Sales Representative – Industrial Laundry Equipment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to grow the Gauteng customer base for an established industrial laundry equipment distributor. The role involves prospecting, relationship building, and delivering tailored equipment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business through active prospecting, cold calling and client visits.
• Manage incoming enquiries, prepare quotations and convert opportunities into sales.
• Build relationships with existing customers and identify growth opportunities.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable equipment solutions.
• Conduct site inspections before and after installation and prepare laundry layouts.
• Maintain sales pipeline and update quotations and opportunities in Salesforce.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an external sales role with a focus on new business development.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience using a CRM system; Salesforce is a distinct advantage.
• Good problem‑solving ability and technical aptitude with basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
• Self‑motivated, organised and comfortable working independently in a territory.
