Sales Representative – Hardware & Building Solutions

About the role

Kirk Marketing is seeking a professional Sales Representative to manage and expand its established retail customer base across the Eastern and Southern Cape. You will act as the primary point of contact for architects, contractors, retailers and installers, delivering product expertise and driving new business.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing retail customers.
• Identify and secure new projects, adding them to the sales pipeline.
• Conduct product presentations for building professionals.
• Log detailed call reports using the company CRM system.
• Coordinate with internal sales admin and procurement to fulfil urgent orders.
• Provide technical support for existing products and resolve customer queries promptly.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the hardware or building industry, preferably calling on architects, engineers and contractors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and able to manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle.
• Clear criminal and work history.
