Sales Representative – FMCG (Gauteng)

About the role

We are seeking an energetic and target‑driven Sales Representative to promote Broadway Sweets’ confectionery range across Gauteng. You will be responsible for expanding product distribution, building strong retailer relationships, and achieving monthly sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual sales goals for the assigned territory.
• Service existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Conduct daily customer visits according to a planned route, ensuring excellent service and prompt query resolution.
• Maintain product visibility through proper merchandising, stock rotation (FIFO), and promotional material placement.
• Execute trade promotions, sampling, in‑store activations, and new product launches.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends to uncover growth opportunities.
• Prepare daily call reports and submit weekly sales summaries.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) – essential.
• Sales or marketing qualification is advantageous.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in FMCG sales or a similar field.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage a territory, and meet targets.
