Sales Representative – Elevator & Lift Industry

About the role

Vision Elevators is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to drive business growth in the elevator and lift sector. The role is based in Johannesburg and focuses on generating new opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and delivering tailored vertical transportation solutions to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and maintain long‑term client relationships.
• Respond promptly to enquiries, attend tender briefings, and conduct site surveys.
• Interpret tender documents, prepare accurate quotations and tender submissions.
• Review purchase orders, ensure contractual terms are acceptable, and coordinate drawing approvals.
• Process sales orders, issue order packs, and keep clients informed of project progress.
• Introduce project managers to contractors and clients before project start‑up.
• Prepare variation quotations and manage project variations as required.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while maintaining an up‑to‑date CRM pipeline.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) minimum; diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Engineering or related field is advantageous.
• 3–5 years of technical sales experience, preferably in elevator, construction, engineering or building services.
• Proven ability to prepare quotations and respond to tenders.
• Strong understanding of contract documentation and commercial terms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google suites.
