Sales Representative – Cape Town

About the role

We are seeking an experienced outbound Sales Representative to join our Cape Town branch. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will market and sell our products, service existing customers, and expand our presence in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare clear written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers.
• Resolve customer problems and complaints promptly.
• Coordinate sales activities with marketing, sales management, accounts, and logistics to ensure excellent service.
• Analyze market potential and assess the value of existing and prospective customers.
• Develop and manage customer value plans highlighting profiles, share, and growth opportunities.
• Provide oral and written reports on customer needs, competitive activity, and new product opportunities.
• Demonstrate products and services, assisting customers in selecting the best solutions.
• Set sales targets and devise strategies to achieve them.

Required profile

• Matric qualification with strong numeracy skills.
• At least four years of outbound sales experience, preferably in the stationery industry.
• Post‑matric qualification in sales or marketing is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Excellent English communication skills and professional appearance.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and analytical thinking.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work within budgets.
• Willingness to travel as required.

• Basic salary of R13,938.82 per month
• Fixed commission of R6,800 per month
• Car allowance of R5,100 per month
