Sales & Office Administrator – Team & Operations Coordinator

About the role

Metal Badge, a manufacturing company based in Pretoria North, Gauteng, is seeking a Sales & Office Administrator to lead its sales team and coordinate daily operations. The role combines sales leadership with order‑to‑production management to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate Sales Representatives and Sales Administrators.
• Set sales objectives, monitor performance and drive target achievement.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development.
• Oversee cold calling, customer acquisition, quotations and walk‑in customers.
• Ensure accurate processing of customer orders and manage order flow between Sales, Administration and Production.
• Communicate customer specifications and deadlines clearly to Production.
• Monitor orders through production, address delays or discrepancies, and coordinate realistic lead times.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Maintain high customer service levels and resolve queries promptly.
• Provide regular feedback to management on sales performance, pipeline and operational challenges.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales management, coordination or administration.
• Demonstrated ability to build, manage and motivate a sales team.
• Stable work record with own reliable transport.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans and available to start ASAP.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Familiarity with CRM and BRM practices.
